Nalanda Bharatnatyam Nritya Niketan. Thane is
an autonomous institute working in the field of Bharatnatyam for last 27
years. We are rently rewarded trophy at Eight Children
International Festival held at Delhi in Balbhavan from (23 November'07
to 28 November'07)
The main objectives of the Institute are :

To teach Bharatnatyam in traditional Pandnullur
style.

To incorporate public in general to appreciate
Bharatnatyam.

To preserve cultural heritage.
-
To encourage and guide the students to pursue
dance as their career.

To conduct basic research in "Sahitya" of
Bharatnatyam.

To present Bharatnatyam in variety of
different compositions like Nritya Natya, Chinnur Etc.
